OnlyFans Performer Brianna Coppage Fired for the Second Time After Employer Learns of Her OnlyFans
Brianna Coppage, 28, a former Missouri high school teacher, made national headlines only a few months ago when her former school district learned of her and her husband's adult Subscription OnlyFans side-hustle, and she was placed on administrative leave pending an investigation. Back in September 2023, Brianna said “I’m very aware that I am probably never going to teach again, but that was kind of the risk I knew I was taking. I am sad about that. I do miss my students." She resigned in October. But the risk versus the reward was worth it. Brianna was a freshman and sophomore English teacher, who was making only $42,000 a year, according to new reports, which she said was what motivated to launch her OnlyFan s account over the summer, to supplement her salary. And supplement it did, earning Brianna, according to reports, between $8,000 and $10,000 per month, which doubled following the news of her suspension. She reportedly said “I do not regret joining OnlyFans. I know it can be taboo, or some people may believe that it is shameful, but I don’t think sex work has to be shameful," and added, “I do just wish things just happened in a different way.” And that was that.
So Brianna moved on, or so she thought. But barely a full workweek into her new job as a
community support specialist at Compass Health, her employer discovered her OnlyFans account, and terminated her, claiming she “violated social media policy.” “I lasted five days before they put me on leave and subsequently fired me just this month,” she told reporters. “They admitted that they didn’t call my references or Google me before they hired me,” she said, adding, “They claim that I violated their social media policy but will not respond to me with how I violated it.” Brianna, however, stated that she disclosed her past job experiences and reasons for leaving, but Compass Health did not perform digital background checks until after they offered her the job. Following her termination, again, Brianna did the only thing she could, posting about it, saying, “So I’m sure by now you’ve heard or you’ve seen I’ve been fired from my most recent job, if anyone knows of anywhere hiring, can you just put it in the comments for me, that would be great,” in a reel posted on her Twitter page. “Making fun of myself for getting fired from another job is a coping mechanism." But the over $1 million Brianna has said she has earned on OnlyFans probably helps her cope even more.
